City
of World Youth

During the festival days, the Olympic Park turned into a true City of World Youth. The festival program was shaped around its core values: responsibility for the fate of the world, multinational unity, a world of opportunities for everyone, preserving the family for the sake of children and peace, and being together with Russia.

Festival participants enjoyed discussions and lectures by well-known experts, an exhibition program, cultural exchange, sports competitions and training sessions, volunteer activities, and other interactive formats.

Crowds of people walk along the street near a large modern stadium with a white dome. Flags and greenery line the road.

Children's program

For the first time in the history of the festival movement, teenagers aged 14 to 17 were given the opportunity to participate. 500 young participants from Russia and 500 from abroad were able to join discussions on the most important issues of our time and take part in shaping the future.

Regional Program

The geography of the festival was not limited to the federal territory of «Sirius.» From March 10 to 17, a regional program took place, during which 2,000 international participants visited 30 cities across Russia. The participants had the opportunity to learn about the history and multinational culture of the country, as well as visit iconic memorial places and large industrial sites.

Today, the World Youth Festival serves as a permanent hub for international collaboration among young leaders.

By the order of the President of Russia, the festival will be held in our country every six years. The directorate will continue to strengthen ties among young people from around the world, organize themed gatherings and events, and preserve the festival's legacy.
