Friendship Clubs

The 2024 World Youth Festival was a significant event that inspired young people around the world to strengthen international ties and build a global community. As part of the Festival, the Cultural Partnership programme aimed at comfortable stay of foreign participants and active cultural exchange was successfully implemented.

Thanks to the efforts of regional representatives and volunteers, young people were able to establish contacts and exchange experience. Following the results of the Festival, the President of the Russian Federation gave instructions to continue the Cultural Partnership programme, which made it possible to create International Friendship Clubs.

International Friendship Clubs are unique associations of young and active people from all over the world, who implement international initiatives. Club participants exchange experience, implement joint projects and events, and promote understanding of cultural diversity, development of cooperation and strengthening friendly ties between Russia and other countries.

Send us an e-mail to members@wyffest.com saying you would like to join the club. Please, specify your country and region of residence, mobile phone and nickname on Telegram, if available.

What areas of activity do the clubs have?

The clubs are structured into 5 major tracks:

  • Media – interaction with bloggers and public opinion leaders, creating joint newsbreaks and media products, media coverage for projects;
  • Entrepreneurship – joint projects in the field of socio-economic development, professional and educational exchanges;
  • Civic engagement – implementation of socially significant and public projects and campaigns, learning about volunteering practices, assistance in overcoming language barriers, adaptation to socio-cultural environment;
  • Regional specifics – organization of international youth events in Russia aimed at creating interethnic and intercultural projects, as well as promoting culture, traditions and tourist routes;
  • Community – creating joint informal interest clubs among countries of the world.
