Young people under 35 years old engaged in spheres of media, creative industries, sports, education and science, public administration, entrepreneurship and IT are welcome to participate. Among important criteria of participants’ selection there are experience in building international youth cooperation, participating in All-Russian and international projects and programs and knowledge of English language.
"Within the World Youth Festival Assembly I hope to meet young people from other countries, share ideas, and learn new ways to work together for a better world. That is a perfect opportunity for me te develop my skills and grow as a leader. The World Youth Festival Assembly will become a platform where young people can listen to each other, understand global challenges and come up with ideas which can lead to real changes in the future," — shared Juan Ignacio Moyano, Deputy Head of the WYF Project Office in Argentina, who has already applied to participate.
The World Youth Festival Assembly is built around the concept of "Russia warms". Russia, as a center of friendship and cooperation, creates a warm atmosphere for establishing international relations and not only warms hearts, but also inspires great achievements.
"The World Youth Festival Assembly is a unique platform for intercultural understanding, political exchange and youth empowerment at the global level. Through such initiatives, we are building a common future based on mutual respect, cultural understanding and collective responsibility, especially between countries like Bangladesh and Russia, which share a long-standing friendship. By promoting direct dialogue and long–term cooperation, such events help to break down stereotypes, promote peace and strengthen ties between people," said Tareq Mahmud, Head of the WYF Project Office in Bangladesh.
Participants will have battles on current youth topics such as artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency, education, sports, and business approach. Immersive shows, interactive and reflective sessions, workshops and pitching projects will also be held at the venue of the Assembly. Unique unifying events will include the creation of the largest painting in the world, an International gastropiknik on the square in front of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair, and an introduction to ice at the Torpedo Hockey Club during master classes for participants.
"I want to participate in the World Youth Festival Assembly to establish contacts with youth leaders from ASEAN countries and other regions, discuss cross-border issues and identify joint strategies to promote sustainable and inclusive development in this multipolar world. It is especially important for me that all young people can share their regional experiences and learn how other countries are implementing youth empowerment policies in the fields of green economy and digital innovation," said Mohd Izzat Afif Bin Abdul Hamid, President of the Malaysian Youth Council, who applied for participation.
