On September 20, at the World Youth Festival Assembly held on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, the platform “Avito Job” provided participants with practical advices on the effective use of online services when looking for a job.
The “Avito Job” analysts have recorded a noticeable increase in young people's interest in employment: in the summer of 2025, the number of CVs from applicants aged 18–24 increased by 42%. Most often, young people posted resumes for such positions as engineers (+155%), office managers (+124%), and installers (+121%). In many ways, this growth represents the desire of young people to earn money and gain their first professional experience, especially during the vacation period.
At the same time, for a successful start, it is important not only to find your first job, but also to be able to assess the reliability and transparency of the employer. The majority (41%) of Russians checked employers during their last job search using job search services, studying feedback from employees. Slightly fewer respondents (34%) noted that they also paid attention to the employer's rating. According to a study prepared by “Avito Job”, 19% of respondents already use AI and neural networks when looking for work. 70% of them noted that new technologies have significantly simplified the employment process.
An important step is to set the filters correctly, which helps to select the most suitable vacant positions. It is important to set parameters for age, choose a convenient work format — in the office, remotely, or hybrid — indicate the desired employment, and also note the level of experience. This approach makes the search more accurate and saves a lot of time. Special markers also help job seekers: for example, the "Market Salary" badge is displayed in job cards with a salary level corresponding to average market values.
Such hints make the search more transparent and allow you to quickly navigate the current salary ranges. The "Avito Job” Service helps job seekers at every stage of their searching for their dream job: convenient filters, badges for safe searching, one-click resume optimization, and other digital tools make the process easier and more comfortable. It is important to remember that employment is a dialogue between two parties that opens up new opportunities and helps you grow," Lyudmila Vavilova, Senior Manager for key accounts at Avito Job says.
