Over 100 awardees and winners of the “Russian Student Spring” Festival got involved in the tour. They represented 9 regions of our country: Republic of Tatarstan (Tatarstan), Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Chuvash Republic, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area, Novosibirsk Region, Volgograd Region, Khabarovsk Territory and Primorye Territory.

“Today is an important day: for the first time in the 32-year history of Studvesna, representatives of our country are presenting their best creative performance on the Chinese stage. Previously, we had a meeting to discuss cooperation between our countries and we exchanged memorable gifts with symbols of China and Russia. I am certain that this will be a new step towards fruitful cooperation and an unforgettable event for student performers that will stay with them forever,” noted Dmitry Pokrovsky, Chairman of the Russian Union of Youth.

As part of the tour, the performers and the director’s crew will present a new concert show called “Two countries – one heart” which tells a story of a young man from Russia meeting a young woman from the Chinese delegation at the World Youth Festival in Sochi. They seem to part ways for good but the Tour of the Russian Student Spring gives him a chance. He heads to China to once again find the one that conquered his heart. This programme is about how culture brings people together and how the power of love can overcome any distance.

In total, the students will present 6 creative festival tracks: “Dancing”, “Singing”, “Theatre”, “Instruments”, “Original Genre”, “Media”.
