The Tavrida.ART festival, a project of Rosmolodezh, will be presented as part of the International Festival of Youth for the first time. The event will take place from September 11-17 in Ekaterinburg and will bring together 10,000 participants from 190 countries.

The Tavrida art cluster team will serve as the operator of the cultural program of the International Festival of Youth and will present its flagship project, the Festival of Young Art, in Ekaterinburg. The program will include music shows and a gastronomic festival, performances by contemporary folk groups and street theatres, a bookfair, a fine art exhibition, a circus tent, and an Art.Youth Mall.

The traditional carnival procession held as part of the festival will take the form of a march of the youth of the world. Participants in national costumes will march together, showcasing the diversity and richness of their cultures.

For residents of Ekaterinburg, Tavrida.ART will stage a large-scale show and will also present the city with an art installation created by residents of the art cluster, symbolizing a cultural link between Crimea and the Urals.

The World Youth Festival took place in Sirius on March 1-7, 2024, according to the Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the development of international youth cooperation. The WYF-2024 brought together 20,000 young leaders from 190 countries.

In line with the Russian President’s instructions to preserve and further develop the legacy of the World Youth Festival, festival events are now held annually across the Russian Federation. In 2025, the World Youth Festival Assembly was held in Nizhny Novgorod, bringing together 2,000 young people from 120 countries. In 2026, the International Festival of Youth will welcome 10,000 participants. The next World Youth Festival for 20,000 participants will take place in 2030.
