More than 300 people gathered at an open-air venue for a concert by contemporary performer Stas More. The atmospheric sunset kvartirnik was organized by the Rosmolodezh program “More Than Trip”, a partner of the excursion and regional programs of the World Youth Festival Assembly in Nizhny Novgorod. The event began with a ceremony to award the winners of the "Guides of Meanings. School of Young Tour Guides" contest. The performer presented the well-deserved awards to the schoolchildren and their mentors together with Olesya Teterina, CEO of ANO “More Than Trip”.
The street stage was arranged in front of the Main Fair House and became a venue for unifying and special formats. Performances, meetings with bloggers, quizzes, film screenings, and master classes are held here on a regular basis. Stas More told the audience about the “More Than Trip” program and performed songs to a guitar. Participants heard the compositions “Beloved Relatives”, “Be the First!”, “Dream!” and others, which allow young people from all over the world to share common values.
“Not long ago, I was a guest at the All-Russian Family Tourism Festival and Children's Tourism Assembly ”More Than Trip" and once again became convinced that soulful songs are a faithful companion to any good trip. Today, I had the opportunity to perform in front of an international audience. Young people from 120 countries gathered at the Assembly in Nizhny Novgorod. And even though we all speak different languages, music is a language that everyone understands. Through musical creativity, we immerse ourselves in the culture of a country or region. My songs are about simple but important things: family, love, friendship, human happiness, the ability to dream, pursue your goals, and rejoice in new discoveries. It is these values that unite the participants—young, vigorous, ambitious people who are ready to fill the world with good intentions, create joint initiatives, and build a common future," Stas More says.
The creative musical kvartirnik was a platform for unity: some sang along with the singer, some danced, and some simply enjoyed spending time with new friends after a day filled with business formats, interactive sessions, and work on joint projects.
Damira Sultanbekova came to the Assembly from Kazakhstan. It was her first time in Nizhny Novgorod, where she discovered Stas More's work thanks to her group friend. Damira shares her sincere emotions about the atmosphere that prevailed at the venue that evening.
“The artist immediately filled everyone with his positive energy. His songs are simple and easy to listen to, but with such deep meaning. I couldn't stay away from such a bright event and sang along with the other participants. I would like to wish Stas More success and thank the organizers of the kvartirnik for this event,” she comments.
As a reminder, on September 17, in Pavilion No. 1, next to the Nizhny Novgorod Region development zone, a photo exhibition of the Russian landmarks contest “From the Southern Seas to the Polar Regions,” arranged by ANO “More Than Trip,” began. On September 19, the program will offer participants an unusual business format: immersive readings titled “Travels in Words: Stories from Trips Around Russia.” The reader will be Italian blogger, pianist, and TV presenter Lorenzo Bagnati.
The organizer of the World Youth Festival Assembly is the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the co-organizer of the event is the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and the operator is the World Youth Festival Directorate. The event is being implemented as part of the national project “Youth and Children.”
Overview:
In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on preserving and developing the legacy of the World Youth Festival, which took place on the Sirius Federal Territory in 2024 and united 20,000 young people from 190 countries of the world, festival events on the territory of the Russian Federation will be held annually. The next World Youth Festival for 20,000 participants will be held in 2030. In 2026, there will be a smaller event, an International Youth Festival with 10,000 participants. In between, the World Youth Festival’s themed Assemblies will be held annually for 2,000 participants. The World Youth Festival Directorate continues its work aimed at strengthening international youth cooperation.
ANO “More Than Trip” is the operator of the Rosmolodezh program “More Than Trip,” thanks to which over 290,000 young people have seen unique sights in our country, learned about the achievements of universities and industrial enterprises, developed socially significant projects, and made new friends. The winners and prize-winners of all-Russian projects go on trips around the country: schoolchildren, students, young professionals from the regions, and family members of military personnel.
In addition to the traditional tourist program—getting acquainted with the natural, cultural, and historical features of the regions—young people visit Russian manufacturing facilities, educational organizations, and other significant sites in the country. They have the opportunity to contribute to the development of cities, participate in volunteer activities, and become co-authors of the trips. Diverse tourism also involves professional self-realization: trip participants can prove themselves and receive offers for internships and employment or apply the knowledge they have gained in their home regions.
The “More Than Trip” program is part of the ecosystem of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and is implemented as part of the national project “Youth and Children”. The program is supported by the Movement of the First, the Russian “Znanie” (Knowledge) Society, the platform “Russia – Country of Opportunities”, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
