During the closing ceremony of the IV International Youth Nuclear Forum Obninsk NEW 2026, tickets to the International Festival of Youth – 2026 were awarded to the winners of a competitive selection process.
Anastasia Petukhova, Director of the Project Management Department at the World Youth Festival Directorate, presented two forum participants with tickets to the IFY – 2026, which is being implemented as part of the Youth and Children national project.
The ticket recipients were Sulistiyono from Indonesia and Nadhira Salsabila from Malaysia. The young leaders will now have the opportunity to take part in one of the largest international youth events of the year, set to take place in Ekaterinburg from September 11 to 17. The Festival will bring together 10,000 young scientists, entrepreneurs, athletes, cultural figures, civil servants and diplomats, representatives of public organizations, and professionals from 190 countries around the world.
"Today, we are presenting tickets to the International Festival of Youth to two participants of the Obninsk NEW 2026 forum who successfully passed the competitive selection. They have demonstrated a high level of preparation, initiative, and engagement with the international youth agenda. This is their chance to become part of one of the largest international youth events, bringing together talented young people from different countries for open dialogue, experience sharing, and joint solutions to contemporary challenges. Science and technology will play a significant role in the IFY – 2026 program. The track will focus on scientific cooperation and technological development, including nuclear energy–a strategically important area that plays a crucial role in sustainable development and technological sovereignty. I believe participation in the Festival will not only allow these young professionals to expand their professional networks and find like-minded peers from around the world, but also contribute to the development of international cooperation in science and technology," said Anastasia Petukhova, Director of the Project Management Department at the World Youth Festival Directorate.
