Choreographer Ildar Gainutdinov and dancer Dima Pele (Pelipeychenko) led the flash mob together with Evgenia Medvedeva. Participants followed the dance moves of the stars, before unfurling a giant Orenburg shawl in the colors of the Russian flag.

The flash mob was accompanied by two-meter-tall matryoshka dolls.

Evgenia Medvedeva shared her impressions: “It was a great experience, even though it’s cold outside. We thought there wouldn’t be many people, but everyone showed up full of energy – they all danced perfectly in sync, even though Ildar promised it would be a simple routine. Honestly, it wasn’t simple for me, but everyone pulled it off! And then we carried out this big, beautiful downy Russian flag – or rather, a genuine Orenburg shawl, a full 70 meters long. It was incredibly beautiful. I love Orenburg shawls. I found one like it in Suzdal, when I went there with a friend, and now I wear it in winter. Unfortunately, though, I wasn’t allowed to take the tricolor shawl home with me,” Evgenia said, smiling.

Comment from participant Baatarbyamba Adyaatseren: “I’m from Mongolia myself. I do dance. I came to the workouts with friends, and I loved it! There are so many other activities at the Festival too – basketball’s coming up soon. And I’ve already had the chance to meet some wonderful people here – I’ve made lots of new friends from India, Nepal and other countries!”

This was the final workout session of the Festival – it drew more than 500 guests!
