At the World Youth Festival Assembly 2025 in Nizhny Novgorod, the Knowledge Center “Mashuk” introduced interactive educational games, master classes from renowned educators, a wall of mentors, and the "Mashuk for Everyone" art piece, created with the assistance of international delegations.

“The World Youth Festival is one of the most vibrant and memorable events of the year. The Assembly brings together winners of renowned professional competitions, talented students, and representatives of various platforms showcasing the best Russian practices in youth outreach. The Knowledge Center “Mashuk” traditionally participates in this large-scale event. During case study sessions, master classes, and other events, our team talks about the original approaches and educational and training methods we use to teach participants from all over the country. I am confident that foreign guests at the Assembly will be interested in our experience in the field of retraining personnel,” Anton Serikov, CEO of the Knowledge Center “Mashuk” and Deputy CEO of the Russian “Znanie” (Knowledge) Society says.

He added that the interactive zone of the Knowledge Center “Mashuk” at the WYF Assembly embodies the main ideas promoted by the all-Russian educational center. Participants in the event can learn in a short time new skills through educational games, receive recommendations from leading experts in the field of pedagogy and mentoring, take photos in front of the famous Knowledge Center frame, and talk about their mentors. The Mashuk team will help foreign guests participate in the events.

The organizer of the World Youth Festival Assembly is the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the co-organizer of the event is the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the event operator is the World Youth Festival Directorate. The Festival pursues the goals of the Youth and Children national project.

Overview:

In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on preserving and developing the legacy of the World Youth Festival, which took place on the Sirius Federal Territory in 2024 and united 20,000 young people from 190 countries of the world, festival events on the territory of the Russian Federation will be held annually. The next World Youth Festival for 20,000 participants will be held in 2030. In 2026, there will be a smaller event, an International Youth Festival with 10,000 participants. In between, the World Youth Festival’s themed Assemblies will be held annually for 2,000 participants. The World Youth Festival Directorate continues its work aimed at strengthening international youth cooperation.

The Knowledge Center “Mashuk” is a national training center for educators and managers in education, youth policy, and educational work, located in Pyatigorsk, at the foot of Mount Mashuk. The Knowledge Center opened in August 2022 and became one of the first three year-round youth educational centers, along with the Senezh Management Workshop of the platform “Russia Country of Opportunities” (Moscow Region) and the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries, a Tavrida.ART project (Crimea). Mashuk’s target audience includes teachers, lecturers, mentors, patriotic education specialists, educational advisors, and heads of educational institutions, who act as the primary transmitters of knowledge, skills, and traditional values popularized in our country. “We teach those who teach” and “Knowledge at its best” are the two main mottos of the Knowledge Center “Mashuk”, a joint educational project of the Russian “Znanie” (Knowledge) Society and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh).
