
From August 10 to August 16, the National Youth Educational Forum "Yug Molodoy" was held in the Zaporozhye region, organized by the platform Rosmolodezh.Forums and the Ministry of Youth Policy of the Zaporozhye region. The events of the International Friendship Club of the Zaporozhye region, the flagship project of the World Youth Festival Directorate, were held within the framework of the forum. Participants of the World Youth Forum Directorate International Friendship Club took part in the meeting "Cultural code: how to understand each other without words?". The experts spoke about the activities of regional organizations aimed at developing international youth cooperation and interethnic communication. Also, the experts stressed the importance of the upcoming World Youth Festival Assembly in Nizhny Novgorod as a platform for intercultural dialogue.
The signing of a memorandum of mutual understanding and cooperation between the World Youth Festival Directorate International Friendship Club in the Zaporozhye Region and the World Youth Festival Project Office in Morocco became the key event of the forum. The Moroccan project office is a partner organization operating in the youth, social, humanitarian, socio-political fields with the support of the World Youth Festival Directorate.
"The development of international youth cooperation today contributes to the formation of a global community based on equality and trust, promoting the ideas of a multipolar world and building long-term partnerships. We are working for the future of our young generation so that they can develop and realize their potential, learn to communicate on equal terms with the whole world. So, in their turn, they can build a secure, multipolar world based on respect and mutual understanding. Each country has its own cultural codes, and understanding these codes, sharing cultural values during joint events is a definite bridge between the youth of our countries, which we are building today," said Egor Logunov, Minister of Youth Policy of the Zaporozhye region.
The parties agreed on comprehensive cooperation in the humanitarian field. Within the framework of the partnership, it is planned to implement joint forums, trainings, webinars and thematic workshops. Special attention will be paid to the development of volunteer initiatives, guided tours and the creation of platforms for intercultural dialogue. The agreement also provides for the exchange of best practices, methodological materials and the organization of events aimed at strengthening international humanitarian ties.

We are developing partnerships with more than 20 regions of Russia, including the Murmansk, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod regions and the Republic of Tatarstan, sending delegations to major international forums, and supporting projects in the fields of education, ecology, and youth diplomacy. Our actions are guided by one principle — youth united by friendship can build a better future for all peoples. Let's be the generation that proves that we can understand each other without words, because our values speak louder than any language. Overview:
The World Youth Festival took place on March 1–7, 2024 in Sirius, according to the Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the development of international youth cooperation. The WYF-2024 brought together 20,000 young leaders from 190 countries.
On the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, the WYF will be held in Russia on a regular basis – once in six years. Also, every six years 10,000 young people from all over the world will get together at the International Youth Festival, and in between, international themed assemblies for 2,000 participants will be held under the auspices of the WYF. The first Assembly is scheduled to take place in September 2025 in Nizhny Novgorod. Festival events of various formats will be held in Russia annually.
According to the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation on the preservation and development of the Festival legacy, the World Youth Festival Directorate continues the work aimed at strengthening international youth cooperation.
