Russia has initiated the creation of the International Content Center for foreign and Russian content creators and media professionals. This was stated by representatives of the World Youth Festival Directorate and the New Media Workshop at a meeting of foreign bloggers and the Workshop community.
The International Content Center is an online platform for the professional community of foreign and Russian media professionals. As part of it, content creators and journalists will be able to share experience, create and promote content about their countries and values. Such content will contribute to the preservation of traditional values, equality of states and peoples, as well as the development of the idea of multipolarity.
The goal of the International Content Center will be to create conditions for the joint work of Russian and foreign representatives of the media industry. Today, the association of the World Youth Festival residents and the community of the New Media Workshop allows reaching more than 150 million people in 50 countries.
The idea to create the International Content Center was born at the World Youth Festival Assembly in Nizhny Novgorod in September this year. The World Youth Festival Directorate and the New Media Workshop delivered a unique educational course. Media professionals then noted the lack of platforms for professional dialogue and collaboration, while expressing considerable interest in the standards of the Russian media environment.
"I started covering the social, political and military situation directly from the spot [while in Russia], because almost no one from Italy wanted to come here to do this. From my point of view, Russian society and Russian reality need to be shown to audiences in Western countries, as well as in Italy, as they are, because many people talk about Russia without knowing what it really is, what the real situation here is. This is what good journalism is about," says Daniele Dell’Orco, a content creator and reporter for the Italian newspaper "Libero".
At a meeting in the "Senezh Management Workshop" of the "Russia – the Country of Opportunities" Presidential Platform, Daniele and other foreign bloggers who arrived in our country as part of the "Foreign Journalists for Russia" project of the federal newspaper "Vashi Novosti" ("Your News") shared their vision of changes in the media industry with Russian media professionals.
