During the plenary session “Women for Strengthening Trust and Global Cooperation” at the IV Eurasian Women's Forum, Israa Ska, World Youth Festival participant from France and Sorbonne University student, put forward the idea of creating an international women’s mentorship programme.
In her speech, Israa Ska proposed establishing an international youth track in women's leadership. She emphasized that mentorship would help build stronger bridges between young women and their senior mentors.
“Young women need tools not only for professional growth but also for the development of society. This programme will allow young leaders from different countries to gain practical experience and become professionals in their fields. The project will continue the youth women’s community created during the World Youth Festival, which took place in Russia in March 2024. It will contribute not only to bridging generations and exchanging experiences but also to promoting participants on the global stage”, said Israa Ska.
The programme will bring together young women leaders from different regions and provide them with opportunities to attend leadership seminars, participate in activities to enhance expertise, and work in teams on real projects aimed at addressing professional gender issues in their communities.

The World Youth Festival took place on March 1–7, 2024 in Sirius, according to the Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the development of international youth cooperation. The WYF-2024 brought together 20,000 young leaders from 190 countries.
In the future, the World Youth Festival will become a platform for the development of a permanent international youth movement aimed at creating a just multipolar world. On the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, the WYF will be held in Russia on a regular basis – once in six years. Also, every six years 10,000 young people from all over the world will get together at the International Youth Festival, and international themed gatherings and events will be held under the auspices of the WYF.
The World Youth Festival is organized by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). The WYF-2024 was operated by the World Youth Festival Directorate.
