On March 4, applications for participation in the large-scale patriotic Russian-Belarusian expedition "Code of the Unconquered" started. Applications are open on the International Platform of Opportunities of the the World Youth Festival Directorate until March 23 at the following link: https://wyffest.com/events/unconquered-2026

The Russian-Belarusian patriotic expedition "Code of the Unconquered" will be held from May 9 to 19, 2026. The expedition is timed to coincide with the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, declared by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The expedition will be joined by 100 leaders from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus with experience in participating in public or patriotic projects. Together they will take a route connecting the cities of military glory: Murmansk, Kandalaksha, Petrozavodsk, Saint Petersburg, Veliky Novgorod, Smolensk, Vitebsk, Minsk.

A rich program awaits the participants: visits to memorials and museums, meetings with veterans and public figures, educational discussions, cultural events, sports activities and project work to promote museums among young people. As part of the competitive selection process, candidates will have to prepare a brag book, a motivation letter and a resume.

The project is organized by "The Power of Peace" ANO with the support of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, the Directorate of the World Youth Festival, the Union of Theatrical Figures of Russia, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs, "Heritage" ANO, Association of Student Sports Clubs of Russia.

Overview:

The World Youth Festival took place on March 1–7, 2024 in Sirius, according to the Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the development of international youth cooperation. The WYF-2024 brought together 20,000 young leaders from 190 countries.

In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on preserving and developing the legacy of the World Youth Festival, which took place on the Sirius Federal Territory in 2024 and united 20,000 young people from 190 countries of the world, festival events on the territory of the Russian Federation will be held annually. The next World Youth Festival for 20,000 participants will be held in 2030. In 2026, there will be a smaller event, an International Festival of Youth with 10,000 participants. In between, the World Youth Festival’s themed Assemblies will be held annually for 2,000 participants.

The first World Youth Festival Assembly was held in Nizhny Novgorod from September 17 to 21, 2025 and brought together 2,000 young people from 120 countries.

The World Youth Festival Directorate continues the work aimed at strengthening international youth cooperation.
