From June 23 to 28, Orenburg will host the 'Eurasia Global' International Youth Forum for the eleventh time, dedicated to the development of the community of International Friendship Clubs (IFC) of the World Youth Festival Directorate. A total of 160 young leaders in the field of international cooperation from Russia and foreign countries between the ages of 18 and 35 will gather at one venue. Among them are active participants in the events of the International Friendship Clubs (IFC) of the World Youth Festival Directorate: mentors and IFC leaders in the regions, active Russian participants in the IFC events, as well as representatives of partner countries.
"Traditionally, the forum brings together young people from around the world in the heart of Eurasia — Orenburg. Over the course of its history, more than 8,000 young leaders from 110 countries have taken part in it. This year, 'Eurasia Global' is taking place ahead of the International Festival of Youth and will serve as another platform for strengthening youth cooperation and developing international ties for Russian regions," noted Grigory Gurov, Head of Rosmolodezh.
The educational program of the forum will be aimed at developing competencies in the field of international cooperation, project management and media support of events.
"This year, the 'Eurasia Global' International Youth Forum will become a platform where the main approaches and areas of work of International Friendship Clubs will be discussed and developed. These unique informal communities, formed as a result of the implementation of the Cultural Mentorship program within the framework of the World Youth Festival 2024 in 89 regions of Russia and on the federal territory of 'Sirius'. These communities unite Russian and foreign youth, allowing them to build long-term partnerships and implement joint projects. The key task of the upcoming meeting will be to develop mechanisms for the implementation of the updated work of the community and the formation of the IFC integral cultural code. The forum will give a new impetus to the development of these clubs, while the IFC, in turn, will strengthen friendly ties between Russian regions and foreign partners," said Dmitry Ivanov, Director General of the World Youth Festival Directorate.
Participants will also enjoy a unique ambient program, as well as media expeditions around the Orenburg Region. Applications for participants are open via the link on the International Platform of Opportunities and will last until May 1. The start of the volunteer recruitment will be announced later.
The organizers of the ‘Eurasia Global’ International Youth Forum are the Government of the Orenburg Region and the World Youth Festival Directorate with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh).

The World Youth Festival took place on March 1–7, 2024 at “Sirius”, according to the Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the development of international youth cooperation. The WYF-2024 brought together 20,000 young leaders from 190 countries.
In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on preserving and developing the legacy of the World Youth Festival, festival events on the territory of the Russian Federation will be held annually. The World Youth Festival Assembly was held in Nizhny Novgorod in 2025 and brought together 2,000 young people from 120 countries. In 2026, the International Festival of Youth will be gather 10,000 participants. The next World Youth Festival for 20,000 participants will be held in 2030.
The World Youth Festival Directorate continues the work aimed at strengthening international youth cooperation and developing a community of young people who care about the future of the world.
