Over 1,300 people submitted their applications, including more than 800 foreign citizens representing 110 nations, and over 500 representatives from Russia.

A total of 300 participants will be selected to participate in the event. The International Youth Forum “Eurasia Global” will take place in Orenburg from June 24 to 29. The event is organized by the Government of the Orenburg Region and co-organized by the World Youth Festival Directorate with support from Rosmolodezh (Federal Agency for Youth Affairs). The Forum’s main focus is “Uniting to Co-Create a Multipolar World”. The goal is to facilitate International Friendship Clubs’ activities, strengthen ties with foreign colleagues, and design services to enhance the experience of international guests in Russia.

Participants will enjoy a cultural programme, including guided tours of Orenburg, visits to the “Orenburgsky” Nature Reserve (home to Przewalski's wild horses), the “Luna” Landscape Park, the Orenburg Ice Cream Factory (with ice-cream tastings), and Orenburg downy shawls workshop. They will also explore the region’s culture at the Rostropovich House Museum, the Gagarin House Museum, the Orenburg Downy Shawl Gallery, and the Jasper Room at the “Hermitage Eurasia” Cultural Center.

The cultural programme will feature the “Evening of Orenburg Culture” concert with folk performances and the “Flavors of Orenburg” festival with culinary masterclasses.

The closing ceremony of the International Youth Forum “Eurasia Global” will take place on June 28 at Lenin Square.

**Overview: ** The World Youth Festival took place on March 1–7, 2024 in Sirius, according to the Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the development of international youth cooperation. The WYF-2024 brought together 20,000 young leaders from 190 countries.

On the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, the WYF will be held in Russia on a regular basis – once in six years. Also, every six years 10,000 young people from all over the world will get together at the World Youth Festival Forum, and in between, international themed assemblies for 2,000 participants will be held under the auspices of the WYF. The first Assembly is scheduled to take place in September 2025 in Nizhny Novgorod. Festival events of various formats will be held in Russia annually.

According to the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation on the preservation and development of the Festival legacy, the World Youth Festival Directorate continues the work aimed at strengthening international youth cooperation.
