Citation Policy
When using official information and quoting statements made by Festival participants and representatives, the finished materials must refer to the World Youth Festival and the source of the information or provide a link to the Festival website if the information is taken from the website. Copied (quoted) information may not be changed, supplemented or distorted.
- Print Media / Radio: any program or interview made during the pre-Festival, Festival or post-Festival time must refer to the World Youth Festival (text or emblem/logo).
- Television: any program or interview made during the pre-Festival, Festival or post-Festival time must refer to the World Youth Festival (text or emblem/logo).
- Online Publications: any article or interview made during the pre-Festival, Festival or post-Festival time must refer to the World Youth Festival (text or emblem/logo).
- Photographs: any published photograph must have the World Youth Festival emblem/logo or caption.
- Blogs / Social Media: when using official information obtained during participation in the World Youth Festival and quoting statements made by Festival participants and representatives (quoting the Festival participants should be done with their personal consent), the finished online materials (blogs, social media, etc.) must contain reliable facts and the official hashtag #ВФМ2024 or #WYF2024 (if used on foreign social media).
The Festival Organizing Committee is not responsible for the statements made by bloggers and social media users.
The World Youth Festival Directorate hereby informs you that it may use the text of articles, photos and videos obtained or created by media representatives or bloggers during the organization or delivery of the World Youth Festival with reference to the source of the information.
