Krasnoyarsk will host the World Youth Festival Forum 2026 – announced Grigory Gurov, Head of Rosmolodezh, during his speech in the Federation Council. Under the instructions of the Russian President on the preservation and development of the post-festival legacy, the Forum will become one of the key international youth events to be implemented in Russia. It is expected to bring together young leaders from across the world.
“Rosmolodezh has long been involved in international youth cooperation. On the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, the World Youth Festival Directorate was established. This year, Nizhny Novgorod will host the World Youth Festival Assembly, bringing together 1,000 Russian and 1,000 foreign participants. Importantly, this is no longer merely event-based work. Systematic efforts are underway to create a database of foreign and Russian participants willing to cooperate with other countries. We are promoting education and humanitarian projects and practices of our country abroad”, said Grigory Gurov, Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.
The World Youth Festival took place on March 1–7, 2024 on the Sirius federal territory, bringing together 20,000 young leaders in science, education, politics, international relations, volunteering, sports, entrepreneurship, culture, and many other areas.
